The song was inspired by astronomical phenomena such as black holes and the life cycle of stars. In the song, it describes a near-immortal being who is looking for it’s long lost lover in the depths of space. This being is able to observe all the wonders of an infinite universe but without its lover it feels lost and alone. Utilizing reverb-heavy synths, trippy guitar effects, catchy basslines, and beautifully layered vocals, this six and a half minute long track is an otherworldly experience.
